Yes! Progress. I actually haven’t read too many of the comics, but of the few I have glanced at, they’re not bad. They definitely do try to make a statement as well as bring about awareness.
Secret Asian Man is written by Tak Toyoshima who has been writing the comic since 1998. Tak grew up in NYC Chinatown but currently lives in Massachusetts and is the art director for the alternative newsweekly, Boston’s Weekly Dig.
